At the heart of Tubbercurrie Terriers is a simple mission: to produce happy, healthy family dogs that reflect the loyalty, character, and confidence that make the Jack Russell Terrier such a remarkable breed; and to share that experience with families who value the same qualities we do.
Tubbercurrie Terriers was established as a natural extension of our long standing appreciation for thoughtful, responsible breeding and our genuine love for the Jack Russell Terrier.
As a Dogs Australia registered breeder, we are committed to responsible breeding practices and to acting in the best interests of our dogs at every stage of their lives. Each litter is carefully planned, raised in a family environment, and given the foundations needed to transition successfully into their new homes.
Life on the land, with Jack Russells at our heels
We are a young family living on a cattle property outside of Monto, Queensland, Australia. Both of our families have always been involved with breeding livestock and enjoy the challenges that come with trying to produce quality, sought after animals. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful Jack Russell Terrier growing up named Rambo, and his loyalty and mateship left an imprint on my heart. So much so that in later years, when we were searching for the perfect dog that would fit into our active and growing family there was only one clear choice – the Jack Russell Terrier.
Fostering a love for the breed that has blossomed over twenty years, we are constantly in awe of their intelligence, courage and quiet confidence. They have proven time and again to be the perfect family-oriented dog for us, and we hope to share this love and loyalty with others.
